a wander through the white village of Mijas takes you to Cascada Studio, situated on Plaza Francisco Jimenez Alarcon, a wonderful indoor patio for a drink after a busy course day, with interesting people to talk to, and a lovely big wooden table to sit and get some ideas at, before moving in to the studio to work. Courses never have more than 6 participants, ensuring that everyone gets full attention and answers to all their questions.

across from the Plaza, Cascada Studio
-
Easy to recognize, with a turquoise door...
-
Summer evenings, the plaza fills with neighbours laughter....
-
a lovely big table to sit and with a cup of coffee.... or a glass of wine, get some ideas, using the extensive reference library available.
-
rain or shine, this is where we "meet", to share ideas, good food and wine, and just be together with other people equally interested in art...
-
summers, we are of course on the patio, a large orange tree provides shade, and there are plenty of places to sit down, sketchbook in hand and loose yourself in your imagination..
-
after a long day in the studio, it is lovely and cool on the patio, for a glass of something nice and a tapa.
-
like a conservatory the social space is almost outside
-
the studio is warm and inviting, in winter with a fire in the fireplace, and in summer lovely cool with thick old walls. There are never more than 6 participants on a course, so plenty of elbowroom!
