“My work is about pleasure, the pleasure of the unexpected, the undiscovered, the things that remind you that life is simple, even though sometimes tinged with sadness or regret, it is still about the dreams and the feelings that we all share, no matter how different we think we are.
In a world that constantly changes I feel that happiness is a commodity in shorter and shorter supply and I if I can, by using touches of humour in my work, make you smile, and open your heart to these pleasures, I have been successful. Essentially, my work is about being happy in the here and now, a task that can be the most difficult of all.
On this website I present both reproductions of my paintings and I also show my original prints.
The reproductions of the paintings satisfy that craving I have for lots and lots of happy colours, something that will brighten you day as surely as sun after a rainshower.
The original prints are much more subtle in colour, each print is inked by hand which does mean that the print you see on the
web can have small differences from the print you receive, I hope you will see this as a positive thing, making your original print
even more original.”
Giclees on Canvas
My giclees are printed in my studio, on my Epson Pro Stylus 9800, printing is done on Torino 17M, a fine art quality inkjet canvas, inks used are K3 - Epson UltraChrome, these inks in combination with high quality canvas ensures that your giclee has the longest possible lifespan. I further ensure that minimum damage is done to your image over time from pollution,UV rays, dust, smoke etc, by coating it with EcoPrintShield . Editions of my giclees are small, and each giclee come with a hologramed certificate signed by me and the publisher, this certificate corresponds to the hologram on the back of your canvas, thus ensuring it's authenticity. The giclees are reproductions from my acrylic paintings.
Original Prints on Paper
